Description:This private, nonprofit organization serves counties in western South Carolina and east central Georgia. It is a non-residential Center for Independent Living and serves people with all types of disabilities and all ages. Services and programs include Advocacy, Assistive Technology Services, Braille instruction, Information & Referral, Home Modifications, and Return to Work Services. They are funded primarily by public and private grants, so most services are of no cost to the consumer. Walton Options does provide some services on a fee basis.
