Description:La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend the monthly Group Meetings or call a Leader for breastfeeding help. La Leche League services are free, but to join the official organizationthere is an annual fee of $40.00. Description:PASOs provides prenatal education in Spanish to expecting Latina mothers. Transportation and childcare are available. Trains health educators in healthy practices and increase access to care; and forms partnerships between the Latino community, the academic community, non-profits and the private health care sector. Program is offered in Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Georgetown, Beaufort, Jasper, Lexington, Richland, Greenville and Spartanburg counties. The website is in both Spanish and English.
