Description:Offers pure yoga as well as "Yoganize" - a unique combination of yoga, yoga therapy, Pilates and specialized/prescriptive toning exercises to invigorate the mind, body and spirit. Classes are prescriptive in nature to prevent and treat injuries. We educate the individual as to how to warm up correctly for each type of sport in order to prevent injury and to keep the body flexible and strong. Classes are predominantly taught by Karen Noonan (Physical Educationist and Yoga Therapist with certifications in yoga, Pilates and various other physical areas). Each client is treated as an individual. Open to men, women and children of all ages and fitness levels. Classes are excellent for runners, golfers, cyclists, martial artists (any sport) as they are geared toward enhancing performance in all areas and towards keeping the body and mind healthy to facilitate the process of aging gracefully and pain-free. Also, offers classes to students who suffer from arthritis and fybromyalgia. Private lessons by appointment.
