One of their programs, Family Caregivers Support, assists unpaid family members who are primary caregivers of citizens over 60 years old. They help evaluate the caregiver's needs and locate, identify or assist with services such as emergency respite, transportation to appointments, support groups, caregiver training and counseling, home modifications for the mobility impaired, incontinence supplies, and nutritional supplements. They also offer some assistance to grand-relatives, over the age of 55, raising children without parental financial support. Programs include I-CARE, Medicare Fraud, Legal Assistance, elder rights advocacy, public education, Family Caregivers Support, and Long Term Care Ombudsman. Information and referral to service is available to seniors and the physically challenged.
