This card can be used for all name-brand and generic medications, including drugs that are not usually covered under traditional insurance (anti-depressants, creames, cessation medicines, and diabetic supplies).

Description:Healthy Connections (Medicaid) is South Carolina's grant-in-aid program by which the federal and state governments share the cost of providing medical care for needy persons who have low income. Assistance is provided for Medicaid beneficiaries and service providers. Click on "Getting Medicaid" in finding the county office which will provide assistance in registering for Medicaid benefits, choosing the right plan, finding a local provider, and will help with appeals. Click on "For Providers" then "Enrolled Providers" to find doctors who accept Medicaid patients.
