The goal of Dream Riders is to serve our clients / athletes through the use of the horse for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well being of people with special needs by way of therapy, education, sport, and recreational / leisure, with a focus on safety at all times. |

Description: | Clients must be referred from local SC Vocational Rehabilitation offices. Specialists evaluate each client's physical disability and determine his or her vocational needs. The Evaluation Center offers a variety of programs and comprehensive services, including: psychological services, career planning and employment, muscular development, aquatic therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, therapeutic recreation, and nutritional counseling. Nurses staff the dormitory 24 hours a day. The inpatient facility serves clients referred by SCVRD counselors from across the state. |
