Description:A 348-bed general medical and surgical hospital. Provides services including surgery, outpatient services, emergency and diagnostics. McLeod Medical Center includes a Children's Hospital, Cancer Center for Treatment and Research, Heart Institute, and a Diabetes Center. The Children's Hospital has the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the region. McLeod is certified as a regional perinatal center, level III, with 12 neonatal intensive care beds and 28 neonatal special care beds. Trauma center level II certified. JCAHO accredited.
