Description:The MUSC Transplant Support Group is for patients and/or caregivers who are currently on the waiting list for a transplant or have already had one. The groups are facilitated by a social worker and a nurse from the transplant center and a speaker usually comes to discuss a transplant-related topic. Participants also share their experiences and socialize. The group meets on the second Thursday of every month from 3-4 p.m. at the Charleston County Public Library on 68 Calhoun Street, Charleston.
