| Description: | The Greenwood Genetic Center works closely with the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs to provide diagnostic services, treatment and prevention programs to reduce the risk and severity of disabling conditions. The Center joined with the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1979 to form the South Carolina Consortium of Regional Genetic Centers. |
