Description:The Phoenix Center provides substance abuse programs and services at different levels of care including: information, education, intervention, outpatient and intensive outpatient, adolescent counseling, family services, medical detox, and a women's residential facility (Serenity House). The Phoenix Center has a 16 bed Medical Detox Unit on-site which is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with counselors, nurses, and on-call physicians. Help is available for individuals and families affected by substance abuse from newborns to adults. The Phoenix Center accepts insurance, Medicaid, and will make payment plans as needed.

Description:At Serenity Place, space is available for 16 women and 2 children each. Priority is given to admittance for pregnant women. Residential treatment is intensive, for a minimum of 50 hours per week, and daily life is structured with a focus on parenting and positive family and independent living skills. The average length of stay could be as much as 6 months, depending on the severity factors.
