SCCADVASA is a statewide advocacy coalition of all the domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers in South Carolina to represent the needs of victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. It promotes awareness and tries to influence public policy. They provide: technical assistance in the development and expansion of resources and services; statistics and references; training and technical assistance to elected officials, law enforcement, health care agencies, social service agencies and other helping agencies; information and consultation to victims and survivors; and legislative and public policy updates.
