Description:Latinos Contra SIDA delivers culturally and linguistically appropriate HIV/AIDS/STD prevention, information, counseling and testing to achieve its goal of promoting education and early detection among the Latino community. The program performs activities that include: risk reduction counseling, outreach activities, HIV testing and test counseling, resource advocacy, condom distribution, HIV prevention trainings, social services, and community referrals.

They can help with place to live, medical attention, and emotional support. It is a community-based advocacy organization and offers public education on HIV and on HIV prevention. Description:Sistercare, Inc. is the only organization in South Carolina's Midlands that provides shelter, services, and advocacy to battered women and their children. Services include a 24-hour crisis line, children's counseling, community counseling services, individual counseling, follow up, legal advocacy, medical crisis intervention, and community education and training.
