CHC locations accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurances and offer a sliding fee discount program for eligible low income families. Health centers provide health care regardless of your ability to pay and even if you have no health insurance. This facility provides adult medicine, pediatric and teen care, chronic illness treatment, treatment for people with HIV/AIDS, HIV testing and lab services. Description:The Horry County Council on Aging provides programs for seniors at Senior Centers and other locations throughout the county. Supportive services such as congregate or home-delivered meals, social and recreational activities, transportation assistance, respite care, case management, and health screenings help older adults lead independent lives in their own homes and communities. Horry County residents age 60 years or older may receive services. Spouses under 60 and dependents with disabilities may also be eligible; please contact the agency for more information.

Description:This is a federally funded program that helps coordinate medical care for people living with HIV/AIDS. It is an Early Intervention Service program designed to help improve the quality and availability of healthcare for people with HIV/AIDS. Patients must meet federal income guidelines and may or may not have insurance. Services include doctor care, medications, dental care, mental healthcare, support groups, substance abuse treatment, assistance with insurance payments, case management, and wellness care. Also has a health center that provides free or low cost sexual health services that are open to everyone, including those who are HIV negative.
