Description:Berkeley Seniors, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that receives financial support from Berkeley County Government, local civic organizations, individual contributions and the state Division of Senior Services. Its mission is "to assist older residents of Berkeley County to age successfully in their natural environments by providing and developing community programs to support physical, mental and emotional well-being." Services provided include home-delivered meals, in-home care, case management, transportation, wellness activities, and Alzheimer's support.

Description:The Strawberry Assistance Center (SAC) is designed to help provide social respite care to meet the needs of famlies and their caregivers, to lessen the burden that caregivers must endure with aging parents and their aging relatives, especially those with memory loss and dementia-related problems. Fully trained staff and volunteers. SERVICES PROVIDED: Hot meals and snacks, day care, exercise and other group activities, support groups and caregiver education. Open on Mondays 10 am-2 pm.
