South Carolina Primary Health Care Association
Community based private, non-profit health centers provide primary care services at income-adjusted fees. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Community Health Centers button to find a list of "community owned and operated, not for profit corporations that provide services to medically underserved areas, primarily in communities with few or no primary care providers." Centers are listed by name, so to find one in a certain location, you will need to scroll through the list.

This site provides links and information about services for the aged and the disabled through its a database. You can find low-cost dental services in your area by clicking on Services Directory. Then choose your county and enter a keyword, such as dental. Click on Search. It will give you a list of any clinics in your area that offers free or low-cost services.

Provides emergency extraction services on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 3:30 p.m. Does not make appointments and must sign up for services at the office. Will only see 10 patients at a first come, first served basis. Patients need to arrive early to secure a spot. Open to all. Also offers preventive and restorative services for people who live in the East Cooper section of Charleston County and lower Berkeley County. Please call for more information regarding services.

The MTC Dental clinic offers Cleanings (Periodontal Scaling), Prophylaxis, and Client Education for adults and children. Sealants, and X-rays are also available as needed. On a limited basis, Periochip, Doxycycline gel and Arestin whitening are also offered. Fees for services usually offer substantial dollar savings for clients.
