Natural Resources Defense Council
Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is a non-profit organization that uses law, science, and membership support to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things. The council is especially supportive of pro-environment legislation to break down the pattern of unequal environmental burdens borne by the socially and economically disadvantaged. NRDC strives to help create a way of life for humankind that does not foul or deplete Earth’s resources.
