| Description: | Clinic patients live in Newberry County, SC. The Free Clinic has guidelines to determine eligibility on the basis of household size and household income as a percentage of the Federal Poverty Level. Patients have no access to medical insurance, as they are not elgible for government programs and cannot afford commercial health insurance. The clinic offers a primary assessment of your medical needs to determine the appropriate treatment options. From this assessment they will provide on-site treatment and/or make necessary referrals to specialists. They also offer access to volunteer dentists for your dental needs. They have access to many common prescription medications that they can offer at no cost to the patient. These include antibiotics for many chronic and acute illnesses. Wellness education is also provided. |
