Description:CAPA conducts outreach throughout Beaufort County to provide child abuse prevention information, such as personal safety and child abuse awareness programs for elementary age children. They provide character development, self-esteem, and goal-setting programs for older children. They also teach children anger management and how to deal with bullying and harassment. Teens are offered sex education including how to avoid STDs, pregnancy,abstinence, and faith-based sexuality. For parents, there are positive parenting program and support groups.
