Description:The South Carolina Drug Card is a FREE statewide discount prescription assistance program. South Carolina residents can download a FREE card and locate participating pharmacies by visiting the website. There are no age limitations or income requirements to be eligible for this program. Through the collaboration of participating pharmacies the South Carolina Drug Card is able to give discounts to the uninsured, under-insured and people with extremely high deductibles on their prescription coverage or whose prescriptions are not covered by their insurance policies.

Description:Communicare is a non-profit agency that coordinates a statewide network of volunteer physicians, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies. This allows us to offer donated prescriptions and limited health services to uninsured, low-to-medium income individuals in South Carolina. Communicare prescriptive medications are filled at no charge. Our network of physicians volunteer to see qualified Communicare patients at no charge for one visit per year in their offices.
