Description:The Client Assistance Program can help solve problems with rehabilitation services for clients of Vocational Rehabilitation Department, Commission for the Blind, and the Independent Living Program. CAP serves as an advocate for customers and works to ensure quality services for those customers. CAP helps clients understand rules, regulations, and procedures, resolves problems, and protects customer rights through the rehabilitation process.

Description:Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities, Inc. (P&A) is authorized by state and federal law to protect the rights of people with disabilities in South Carolina. P&A promotes this mission by enabling individuals to advocate for themselves, by speaking on their behalf when they have been discriminated against or denied a service to which they are entitled, and by promoting policies and services which respect their choices. Services P&A Provides: Information & Referral, Case Representation, Systemic Advocacy, and Self-Advocacy Training, Education and Outreach.
