Laura Cousineau, M.L.S.

Laura Cousineau, M.L.S., has a Masters in Library Science from the North Carolina Central University, an HBC, and has over 11 years experience as a reference librarian in both academic and medical libraries. She directed university-based outreach programs for teachers in the public schools, and has been a community volunteer since the age of 16. She has served on the boards of organizations such as The Genesis Home for homeless families, the Durham County Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Women Against Violence Against Women, We Are Family (support services for GLBT youth) and the Junior League of Durham and Orange County as Community Vice President.
